There are three different types of cassowary in the world and the northern cassowary is only found in the northern part of Papua New Guinea. Very little is known about them and our work using the Protected Areas Monitoring phone app is providing vital information about where they live.

 This cute cassowary, or “Muruk” as we call them in Pidgin English, has all the bright colours just like the Cassowary in the wild. This kind of Cassowary design is made with love by Boss Crew. The Muruk is 34cm in height, 12cm wide and 20cm long with legs that dangle down in front of it.
